What really is yoga?

All the hype, none of the clarity. What really is yoga?

In sankrit, a classical Indian language,Yoga means union; specifically Union with the divine.  Yoga is nothing more and nothing less than that. There is a whole philosophy and way of being behind yoga that unites you with innate divinity as a way of being. Yoga is truly nothing if it only consists of you coming to the mat for an hour. It is a Soulful, united space of exsistance. To see or experience it as anything else cheats you of a beautiful experience.
